Welcome! I'm Emma, a proud mother of three with over two decades of experience as a self-employed business women. Throughout my career, I've launched several businesses, primarily focusing on childcare. While I thoroughly enjoyed my time in childcare, the arrival of my youngest child prompted me to reevaluate my career path. This led me to explore various jobs, gaining new skills and discovering new passions.

Driven by my desire for independence, I established a Virtual Assistant business and invested in a pet care franchise in 2019. The rapid growth of these ventures enabled me to leave my part-time job and focus entirely on my businesses. As for many others, the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic brought new challenges. With my children at home and restrictions in place, I couldn't continue my usual business operations. I had to adapt quickly to keep my business afloat. Thanks to my dedicated team, we managed to sustain and even grow the business by 225% during this period. While my team handled the daily operations, I concentrated on strategic planning and operational management around my family's needs. Despite our efforts, I realised I needed additional income, so I joined a dynamic start-up company. This experience equipped me with invaluable skills and ultimately inspired me to create Mumentum.
